THE COMPETITION (GENERAL RULES)

- All candidates must sign up with a personal made mixtape via e-mail (see below).

- We will NOT accept any registrations via other channels (facebook messenger, text messages, ...)

- Registrations open on 10.05.2018 and close on 28.05.2018 at 23.59 PM.

- The winner will be handpicked based on his or her mixtape and announced on our facebook page on 02.06.2018.

THE PRIZE

So what does all this work get you?

- 90 minutes of total creative freedom on OPEN AIR KABAL 12! (Friday 24.08.2018 from 21.00 PM till 22.30 PM).

- Playing at an event with a high-end professional light- & sound set that will later on the evening host several nationally famed deejays.

- Up to 10 spots on the guestlist.

- An addtional 20 free drinks.

- Your artist name on all of our artwork and promotion material.

THE FINE PRINT

- The Open Air Kabal Crew has the right to refuse certain candidates if they do not meet the requirements requested to sign up for the competition.

- The Open Air Kabal Crew has the right to refuse certain candidates if they choose to inflict a negative impact to the image of the organisation with their actions and/or  visions.

- The Open Air Kabal Crew has the right to add/modify or discard any of the competitions regulations at any time.

- Candidates do not need any kind of (previous) experience to sign up for the competition (as long as they meet the registration requirements).

- Each candidate agrees to (if chosen as the winner of the competition) perform his/her live set at Open Air Kabal 12 (on Friday 24.08.2018 from 21.00 - 22.30 PM) with the necessary equipment provided by the organisation, which will be:  3x Pioneer CDJ2000nxs & 1x Pioneer DJM900nxs.

- Personal own equipment (except laptops) will not be accepted. This means -> NO CONTROLLER SETS!

- Every enlisted candidate must submit a mixtape he or she has created him- or herself.

- The mixtape must be of the same genre the deejay wishes to perform in on "Open Air Kabal 12".

- By signing up for the competion, each candidate accepts the competition regulations.

OKAY, SO HOW DO I SIGN UP?

Send us an e-mail at openairdjcontest@jhkabal.be with the following:

- A mixtape (you made yourself), of at minimum 12 and at maximum(!) 25 minutes long.

- The mixtape (.wav, .mp3, .aiff) should be added as an attachment or added as a link where we can download the file (Soundcloud, MixCloud, ...)

- Make sure you include your artist name, your preferred genre, a short bio of yourself, a good photo (if possible while playing) and previous references/gigs (if you already have some).

- A valid e-mail adress AND cellphone number on which we can reach/contact you.

The Open Air Kabal Crew will always confirm each valid registration back to you via e-mail.
